Like nearly everything we do, our SEO Services begin with a consultation with you to learn about your business and to identify what SEO marketing opportunities exist in your niche. You know your business, and I know SEO, so together we can develop a strategy that will get results.
With the consultation complete, we use research tools to find search terms to address that provide the best possible search volume with the lowest possible competition. This research will then inform all of our SEO actions going forward.
Once we have our target words and niches worked out, we then begin to implement the plan. It starts with setting up your website and online presence to line up with what we found during our research to be as discoverable and understandable by the search bots as possible. From there it goes on to creating content that pushes your website up the rankings.
“What is SEO?” is a question I get asked a lot. And it’s pretty understandable that people feel confused by it because it encompasses an awful lot. But, simply put, SEO is all the actions you need to take to get your website found by people who are searching for your product or service organically (as opposed to finding you through paid ads).
Broadly, it breaks down into categories of action: 1) Set-up type actions where you build your website and online presence using best practices so that search bots can find you and understand what you are about (I compare it to building a house and making sure that the electrical and sewer lines are all connected properly)
and 2) On-going actions that mainly consist of creating content (blogs, videos, social media posts, etc.) that are understandable to search bots and appealing so your human users.

With ongoing SEO, you can do as much or as little as you like. When you get to a point where the leads are flowing in, you can stop taking some SEO actions and see if you hold your position or if your competitors overtake you. Then you can always start up again at any time.

Short answer: No. No one can guarantee results in the world of SEO.
Success with search engine results depends on a lot of factors. First and foremost, Google can change its algorithm on a whim, and you can lose progress you’ve made.
You can also be entering a highly competitive field that requires double or triple the usual time or effort to achieve any kind of result.
And, ultimately, if your product or service is new or untested (not some standard services like cleaning or home repair), then what you’re offering may not appeal to the people searching, and no matter what you do, you may never see the results you want.
What we can guarantee is that we will follow best practices, work diligently, and provide you with regular reports on how it is all going.
Like most things, the answer is: it depends.
For set-up type actions (see the “So What is It?” tab), the costs are included in our website design fees. There is no point in designing a website without doing the SEO portion properly.
If you have a website already and need it audited for proper setup, we charge $250 for review and implementation.
For ongoing SEO services, we start at $250/month for a basic content creation package, and it can go up from there depending on how aggressive you want to be.
SEO is a long-term strategy and requires time to take effect. If you need to get leads in the door right away, that is done with Pay-Per-Click advertising, which is a whole different strategy.
With SEO, there are no guarantees, as you are subject to the whims of the Google Algorithm. However, it typically takes between 3-6 months to begin to see results. It can take a year or longer to get to the front page for your search terms.
It is generally recommended that you begin with PPC ads to see results right away, while simultaneously building up your search presence for long-term results.
When you start to get organic search results, you can start to taper off your PPC.
